The export activity of MELISSA KIKIZAS started in the 70’s and today it is one of the most important strategic pillars of the company. With a global presence in more than 45 countries, exports account for 25% of the total annual turnover and are constantly on the rise.

Aiming at the strategic positioning and development of the brands in countries around the world, the export department is staffed and operates with separate marketing and sales departments to achieve maximum customer performance and create integrated communication plans per country based on market dynamics and consumer profile.

MELISSA KIKIZAS has been distinguished for its extroversion and export activity with two gold awards as Top Manufacturing Export Company and Top Export Company Brand at the Greek Exports Forum & Awards 2020.


Our main exporting countries are: Poland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Albania, Germany, Belgium and China. Specifically, Atlanta has been operating in Poland as a subsidiary since 1992, with organized sales, marketing and logistics departments, covering more than 40,000 points of sale.

At the same time, America, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Kuwait, Canada, Asia and Saudi Arabia are our new, profitable business activities with significant potential for further growth.

In addition, we work with the largest retailers in the world such as: Walmart, Kaufland, Tesco, Lidl, Carrefour, Delhaise, Biedronka, Colruyt, Aldi, Rewe, Auchan, Cora, Globus, Metro, Billa, Novus and Edeka. Our partnerships are either through distributors/agents or directly with retailers.

Wherever in the world our partners are located, we build long-term relationships of mutual trust based on consistency, reliability and directness, managing to adapt and respond with flexibility and success to the specifications and requirements set by our customers.


MELISSA KIKIZAS exports worldwide its entire portfolio of brands and a wide range of private label products. The Primo Gusto, Melissa, Stella and Vlacha brands travel all over the world, strengthening the company’s export profile every year.


Our presence in the largest Food and Beverage expos, organized internationally and in the major B2B events is intense and continuous.

Indicatively, our most important participations are in the Food Shows of Anuga – Germany, Gulfood – Dubai, Sial – France, PLMA – Netherlands and Fancy – New York, aiming at direct contact with new customers, the study and recording of global food trends and the further development of sales through our innovative and traditional Greek products that represent the Mediterranean diet.

The key target markets are: USA, Saudi Arabia, Africa and Asia, through direct partnerships and the development of new distribution networks.
